Shaligram Shila

The Shaligram Shila is a naturally occurring sacred fossil stone found exclusively in the Gandaki River of Nepal and is considered one of the most powerful and divine symbols in Vaishnavism. It represents the formless manifestation of Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. Revered in scriptures like the Skanda Purana and Padma Purana, the Shaligram Shila is believed to hold the spiritual essence of Vishnu himself and is often kept in puja rooms or temples for daily worship and blessings.
